Dr. Ellis-Lai has co-facilitated a weekly Faculty Learning Community with Dr. Candace Hastings and Dr. Carrie Boden through the Office of Faculty Development.
This teaching and learning community of faculty discussed topics having to do with innovating our teaching across every academic department on campus. Our community members work in a variety of teaching modalities, including face to face, hybrid, hy-flex, and asynchronous online instruction.
Together, we have found instructional inspiration, broadened our network of faculty and staff colleagues from across the Texas State University campus, and learned how to better serve our fabulous students!
